Scott Eckardt PT, Cert. MDT, MBA

Scott Eckardt has been a physical therapist for over 25 years and received his bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from Downstate Medical Center located in Brooklyn, N.Y. in 1998. He received a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Walden University in 2013.

While practicing in New York, Scott served as a consultant for the Nassau County Police Department and was also named Physical Therapist for the Costa Rica Cup Soccer tournament held in Jaco Beach, Costa Rica in 2007 and 2008.

Scott is credentialed in and utilizes MDT (Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy) for his patients. The Mckenzie Method or (MDT) is a highly effective evidence-based assessment and management protocol for patients with musculoskeletal problems in the spine and extremities. Scott strongly believes in empowering his patients by helping them understand their condition, self-manage, and prevent future occurrences.

While not at work Scott enjoys exercising, fishing, golf and spending time with his wife and three children.
